Honeypreet continues to escape arrest: Is information on police raids being leaked?

Accused of intercepting police's wireless signals on August 25, Honeypreet Insan - mastermind of the foiled escape plan of convicted godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh - has been continuing to evade arrest since the day of the Dera chief's conviction.   According to sources, it is due to information of police raids being leaked that the rogue Dera aide has managed to escape being caught.

Who is leaking this information to Honeypreet? Are there black sheep within the Haryana Police, which is accused of working under pressure from politicians and just paying a lip-service in the name of duty?

Haryana's most wanted woman and actress of Ram Rahim's films, Honeypreet also holds the number two position in the controversial sect Dera Sacha Sauda . Honeypreet Insan has been elusive for the last 33 days and has fled from one city to another and allegedly even crossed the international border.

WHO IS HELPING HONEYPREET INSAN, THE POLICE?

While claiming herself to be clean, Honeypreet allegedly not only asked top Dera aides to set up a control room in Sector 3 in Panchkula to keep a tab on police movement, but had also formed a Whatsapp group to monitor the situation herself.

She is also believed to be the mastermind of the great escape plan that was foiled. Honeypreet, along with other Dera men, wanted to whisk away rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim from the custody of Haryana Police. Security guards of Gurmeet Ram Rahim were found using an illegal wireless set on August 25. They were allegedly intercepting messages being shared by the Panchkula police and were monitoring the police movement.

In the wake of the use of illegal wireless sets on August 25, there is no denying the fact that Honeypreet and her Pitaji had access to the intelligence wing of Haryana Police.

Sources say some insiders are leaking information on sensitive police raids to this woman. That is why she manages to escape hours before her possible hideouts are raided.

Why the Haryana Police has failed to arrest Honeypreet so far is a question only it can answer.

"Honeypreet is only complicating the situation for herself by escaping arrest. She should surrender before the police and join the investigation. The police are doing their job and will arrest her soon", Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Mohammad Akil said.

WHEN HONEYPREET NARROWLY ESCAPED ARREST

The fugitive Honeypreet Insan had escaped being caught by Haryana Police teams just in the nick of time. Cops have raided the premises where she stayed, but every time she has been able to flee.

It has been learnt that police let Honeypreet move from Rohtak to Sirsa on August 25, despite knowing the fact that Dera followers were involved in rioting and arson in Panchkula after rapist Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim was convicted.

Honeypreet stayed at the Dera until August 26 when the escape plan was in public domain. Sources say Honeypreet used Z plus security cover to flee from Dera premises that day.

Police commandos escorted her to Hanumangarh where she stayed for two days on August 27 and 28 with her brother's relatives. The case was registered against her on August 28 in Panchkula.

Honeypreet stayed at the Sangaria village on August 29 with a Dera follower.

Not just this, Honeypreet also went to Gurusar Modia, Udaipur and Barmer in Rajasthan and then came to New Delhi. She spent two hours with her advocate and then again managed to escape from right under the nose of Haryana Police, which was camping in Delhi.

Sources say even on September 27, when she was hiding inside a Greater Kailash 2 apartment, police failed to arrest her. She was believed to be hiding in a flat in Gurgaon, but even here she managed to escape well in advance before the police raid.

Honeypreet is still beyond the reach of Haryana Police, which could not even arrest her when she was in Delhi.

Sources say Haryana Police is working under pressure from its political bosses who no longer want to annoy the Baba, who helped the BJP form the government in Haryana.
