Activists of the Youth Congress took out a protest march in Yerragondapalem town in Prakasam district in protest against the fuel daily price regime and the alleged ‘unprovoked’ lathicharge by police on students of Benaras Hindu University(BHU).
Leading the protest from the Statues centre to the Civil Supplies office, Youth Congress District President G.Raj Vimal alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh were bent upon “saffronising educational institutions in the country.”
