"Young Indians who account for 63% of nation’s population have the competence to build new digital businesses," he added.

Ambani said that Indian mobile market is overflowing with data, and the entire industry has worked to create robust a digital circulatory system to carry data to each one of 1.3 billion Indians, including those living in remotest village.

4G coverage in India will become larger in within the next 12 months, he said, adding that there is an urgent need to apply revolutionary powers of digital technologies to India’s pressing needs and challenges.

"We must foster confidence in the society. New technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, IoT, cloud computing, big data analytics, 3D printing, blockchain, nano tech. are enablers of employment and wealth for all," Ambani said.
