Congress widens protest against Modi government over hike in fuel prices

For the past few days, the Congress has been holding protests in various cities, as the party believes the issue is striking a chord among the poor as well as the middle class. In Jaipur, state Congress leaders hit the streets in a rally of bullock carts, camel carts, horses and cycle rickshaws, to show how rising fuel prices have made motorised transport too expensive for the aam aadmi.
