A Delhi court on Wednesday granted bail to former Odisha High Court judge Ishrat Masroor Quddusi in connection with the medical college scam.
The bail was granted on a personal security of Rs. 1 lakh.
Quddusi and five other persons were sent to four days Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody over allegations of bribery to settle a medical college recognition case in the Supreme Court.
The arrests were made after a detailed search operation at various locations, including the premise of Quddusi. Searches were also conducted in Bhubaneswar and Lucknow.
