Two Indian cities featured on World’s 30 most-visited cities’ list; one is Mumbai, second is not Delhi; find out

This week Mastercard released its 2017 Global Destination Cities Index, which lists 132 cities most visited cities around the globe. According to Business Insider, the ranking is done according to the city's number of international overnight visitors. The study has predicted the most visited cities in the year 2017. London, United Kingdom: The study says that this year, London will see 20 million international visitors. Standing on the river Thames, London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. Famous for its Big Ben clock tower and the Westminster Abbey, London is the second most visited cities on the list.(Reuters)

France capital Paris, which is the global market for fashion, will see 16.1 million international visitors in 2017, says the study. Popular for the Eiffel Tower, Paris is known for being the hub of designer clothing in the world. (Reuters)

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: This middle-eastern city is the 4th most visited cities on the list with 16 million international visitors this year. Dubai is famous for the Burj Khalifa that dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline in the UAE. (AP)

5. Singapore: The sovereign city-state located in Southeast Asia, Singapore, is said to have 13.45 million international visitors this year. As per the study, Singapore is the fifth most visited city of 2017. (Reuters)

6. Tokyo, Japan: With around 12.5 million international visitors this year, Tokyo stands sixth on the list. The city of Japan, Tokyo is a famous spot for all international visitors, shows the study. (Reuters)

Seoul, South Korea: This South Korean capital city is the seventh most visited cities on the list. With 12.44 million international visitors, Seoul is the seventh country around to globe to host most international tourists.(Reuters)

New York, United States of America: The eight most visited cities of 2017 is New York with 12.4 million international visitors this year. Famous for the Empire State building and Times Square, the capital city of USA is a head-out for most international tourists. (Reuters)
