Reliance Jio is shipping its pre-ordered Jio phones. There are around 6 million bookings of the phone and it will be delivered in the span of 15 days. But, before the handset is in your hand there are certain rules and regulations for the costumers who are using the handset, they must know.
A guideline has been issued for returning the phone and under this the costumers will be penalised if they return the phone before 3 years. Reliance Jio website has revealed the terms and conditions of return policy on Jio Phone. To start with, users who return the Jio Phone within 12 months from the date of the first issue, will have to pay Rs 1,500 along with applicable GST or other taxes.

Similarly, if a user returns the device after 12 months and up to 24 months from the date of the first issue, he/she has to pay Rs 1,000 plus GST or other taxes. Users who return their devices after 24 months and up to 36 months, will have pay Rs 500 plus applicable GST or other taxes. And the rules are even more complicated. Users have to make recharges of Rs 1500 annually for a period of 3 years from the date of first issue of the phone. And, if he doesn’t do it, then the company has full right to take the phone back. Reliance Jio has a customer base of more than 100 million, and the numbers are still rising.
