JAMMU: Security forces on Wednesday recovered cache of arms and ammunition from a hideout busted in Doda district.
”Acting on specific information, army and police this afternoon launched a search operation in Thana Forest area of Dessa and recovered arms and ammunition from a hideout concealed inside a natural cave,” official spokesperson here said.
He said that during search and seek operations two AK 47 Rifles, two UBGL, two Chinese Pistols, two Chinese Grenades, four RPG rounds, three hundred 347 of AK 47 ammunition and certain other war like store were recovered from the spot.
The operation was launched jointly in the early hours by the RR battalion of Doda and JKP from Police Station, Dessa, he added. (AGENCIES)
