It will be interesting to watch the two young actors share the stage as they are gearing up to co-star in Ayan Mukerji's supernatural trilogy Dragon, for which they will start shooting soon. The film, also starring Amitabh Bachchan, will be produced by Johar's Dharma Productions.
Johar goes a long way back with both Ranbir and Alia. The filmmaker launched the actress in his 2012 romantic comedy Student of the Year. Since then, she has worked in a number of his productions like Abhishek Varman's 2014 film 2 States, Shashank Khaitan's Dulhania franchise, Shakun Batra's 2016 family drama Kapoor & Sons and Gauri Shinde's 2016 slice-of-life entertainer Dear Zindagi. She also wrapped up Johar's co-production, Meghna Gulzar's espionage thriller Raazi, in Kashmir on Tuesday.
Ranbir has starred in Mukerji's 2009 coming-of-age drama Wake Up Sid and 2013 romantic comedy Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. He also starred in Johar's 2016 directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Besides this session, it was earlier announced that the entire star cast of Rohit Shetty's Diwali release Golmaal Again will have a panel discussion at the event as well, including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Parineeti Chopra.
