PFI to hold awareness pgm from October 15

Popular Front of India (PFI) will organise a nationwide programme called ‘ We also have a voice ‘ from October 15.

At a press conference organised on Wednesday, PFI general secretary Yasir Hassan said, “We will hold a convention in Bengaluru to publicise PFI’s intentions and the work we have done so far”. PFI representatives said that there were many right wing organisations trying to stifle PFI and their voice was not being heard.

Hassan added that they will also create awareness about people regarding the anti-minority policies of the central government. He stressed that PFI has been working for the development of dalits for the last 20 years but some vested interests were trying to defame them as terrorists. They are blaming us for communal clashes taking place across India with the support of a section of the media he alleged.
