2017 Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor and Partnering Conference Welcomes 40 Investors and Strategic Partners

Presenters include 29 public and private companies from Rocky Mountain states

Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) today announced the full list of investors and strategic partners set to hear company pitches at the 2017 Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor and Partnering Conference (RMLIPC) from 29 life science companies representing innovation from four Rocky Mountain states.

The 2017 conference, to be held in Beaver Creek, Colo. on October 2 and 3, brings high-profile angel investors, venture capitalists, and representatives from large life science corporations to meet leaders from emerging and established life science companies from Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico and Utah. A total of 40 investor representatives will attend.

Following a breakfast keynote presentation on bioscience and impact investing by Stephanie Gripne, Ph.D., Founder and Executive Director of the Impact Finance Center, investors and partners will hear pitches from the 29 companies chosen to present. For the first time, the presenting companies include three publicly traded firms, ARCA Biopharma, miRagen and ProLung.

Steve Lindseth, Senior Advisor at Triple Tree Capital Partners, will discuss the investment landscape for healthcare innovation from the investor perspective during the lunch keynote.

The 2017 Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor and Partnering Conference, led by the Colorado BioScience Association in collaboration with associations in Arizona, Montana, New Mexico and Utah, will kick off with a cocktail networking reception at Beaver Creek’s Park Hyatt Hotel on October 2, followed by a full day of company pitch presentations on October 3.
