Electrical engineering firm Orbittal Electromech Engineering Projects has set up new LED lights manufacturing unit at Shivane near Pune.

This new unit will undertake manufacturing of all types of industrial and commercial LED light fixtures including flame proof clean room application.

The company has also set up an ultramodern Research and Development centre.

The company, which currently has a workforce of over 400 employees has invested Rs 6 crore in setting up this new LED lights manufacturing facility.

The installed manufacturing capacity of the new plant would be 500 KW per month. The company will now be looking at providing customised lighting solutions to its clients.
