Sector 61 residents celebrate Mahashasthi

NOIDA: Shasthi Puja was performed at Balaka pandal in sector 61 on Tuesday.

While devotees thronged the pandal early morning, the day was celebrated with talent show from lady Balkans.

The evening Aarti was performed by the Revered Maharaja of Ramkrishna Vivekananda Mission at 7 pm.

The cultural programme began at 8pm and included Sharad Aamantran by SwarChhanda, a Group from Delhi with their lead singer Shwapnil singing folk and Rabindra Sangeet around 8:40pm.

Apart from this, Bollywood singer Olivia Chakraborty of Zee Sare Gama Winner performed at 10pm onward.

Meamwhile the pandal depicting the ancient temple of Bishnupur laced with terracotta sculptures and designed by artist Vikas Malakar drew large crowds.
