Mumbai: The BMC has replied positively to the letter given by the working secretary of Sena Bhavan of Dadar to grant permission to conduct the annual programme of Shiv Sena party ‘the Dussera Rally’ at Shivaji Park, one of the silent zone of the city.
Ramakant Birdkar, Assistant Municipal Commissioner of Dadar (G north ward) of BMC stated that the permission has been granted. “They have been asked to follow certain measures while organising the event like to take permission from police as the ground is a silence zone. Also, to take measures so that the sound decibel would not cross the restricted limit given by the HC.”
