Ujjain: Following the Supreme Court of India decree, ordering the transfer of ownership of Gulmohar Park Colony to Ujjain Development Authority (UDA), verification of documents of all properties sold, of the said colony began at UDA on Monday. The Supreme Court upheld ownership of properties sold before high court orders were issued, while cancelling all registrations for the properties sold later.
As per information, 67 property holders were notified with letters asking them to present their documents for verification. A team of CEO Abhishek Dubey, executive engineer KC Patidar, project in-charge Sunil Dabar and Yogesh Soni carried out the verification. According to CEO Dubey, 13 beneficiaries selected their properties, which were booked last year. These M-1 type properties have been built in an area of 135 square meters comprising 2 bedrooms, 1 hall, 1 living space and 2 bathrooms in Kshipra Vihar colony of UDA. Out of 17, each present beneficiary selected housing units of their choice in the presence of UDA officials that included Jaideep Sharma, Praveen Dubey and others.
