Developments in Samajwadi Party a fixed match: Amar Singh
Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh on Monday said the development in the Samajwadi Party (SP) was a “fixed match” between party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh Yadav.

Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh on Monday said the development in the Samajwadi Party (SP) was a “fixed match” between party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh Yadav.
Talking to media persons in Vindhyachal, Singh said Mulayam gave power to Akhilesh for the sake of love for his son. “The series of incidents in the Samajwadi Party are a part of a fixed match between Mulayam and Akhilesh,” he said.
“I am neither with Mulayam nor with Akhilesh,” he said.
Singh also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “There is no alternative to Modi in India,” he said.
Recalling his days in the SP, Singh said he sent Akhilesh to Australia for studies and arranged his marriage with Dimple.
“Like the (North) Korean dictator (Kim Jong-un) who threw his uncle before a hungry lion, Akhilesh sacrificed his father for success in politics,” he said.
“Akhilesh didn’t take any lesson from Lord Ram who spent 14 years in exile to fulfil the wish of his father,” he said.
“Mulayam’s words have no value. If I was neither a member of the party nor its office-bearer, why did he send me to the Rajya Sabha? Why did he want to call me from backdoor?” Singh asked.
