Ghatkopar Building Collapse: Accused withdraws bail plea

The main accused in the Ghatkopar building collapse, Sunil Shitap, Tuesday withdrew his bail application filed before the Bombay High Court.With the public prosecutor informing the court that the chargesheet in the matter had been filed before the sessions court, the accused withdrew his bail application with liberty to approach the trial court with a fresh plea.

The incident, which took place on July 25, had claimed the lives of 17 people, leaving 14 people injured.
