Tenancy: Government gets High Court notice

PANAJI: The high court of Bombay at Goa on Tuesday issued a notice to the state government over its decision to revert tenancy cases to mamlatdars from the jurisdiction of civil courts.
The petition, filed by Ramkrishna Desai challenging the state government's decision, was listed for hearing on Tuesday.
Upon issuing the notices, the petition was posted for further hearing till November 20.
