This session focuses on agriculture -- the challenges it faces in Karnataka and in the country.

The session delves upon three paradoxes. Some of them are:  Why agriculture sector, the primary  sector of any economy is lagging? Why is northern Karnataka so underdeveloped compared to southern Karnataka?
