Algerian Artist Uses Coffee, Salt and Coal to Create Celebrity Portraits

September 26, 2017

Algerian artist Abdul Hafez Qazlan provided Ruptly a glimpse of how he uses salt, coffee and coal to fashion breathtaking portraits at his home in Batna. Once Abdul picks up the canvas and shakes it, coffee granules which are not stuck to the surface fall away to the floor and reveal and intricately detailed portrait of reggae musician Bob Marley.
