The Western Railway will run total of 9 local services on the STA line, including 7 new and two old ones. Ravinder Bhakar, chief public relation officer of WR told Mumbai Mirror, “We have decided to start 32 extra local services from October 1. Additionally we are also going to convert one of the 12-car rakes into a 15-car rake.”

The official added that, there are currently 42 trains with fifteen car rakes are running on Western Railway’s suburban network. With the new 32 locals, WR will get a boost, as the number will go up to 54 from October 1.
