Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag on Tuesday thanked Sachin Tendulkar for gifting him a BMW 7 series. Posting a picture on his Twitter account, Sehwag thanked his long-time opening partner for the car. The car seen in the picture is a BMW 730 Ld and costs a whopping Rs 1.14 crore in India. “Thank you @sachin_rt paaji and @bmwindia .Grateful for this !” said Sehwag in his caption. Sehwag and Sachin have been India’s long time opening pairs, and arguably one of the best in the world. The two cricketers are also known to share a warm relationship with each other. Their special equation was clearly visible even at the time Sehwag retired from the game. Sachin, throwing overwhelming praise on Sehwag, had said that he is a “true champion” and that he was an absolute joy to play alongside. Sehwag too has maintained that master blaster was an inspiration to him and remains a good friend off the pitch.
In February this year, Sehwag posted a photo of him with the Sachin and expressed his gratitude over the ‘Darshan’. “God ji ke Darshan in Delhi. @sachin_rt,” Sehwag wrote. However, Sachin looked unimpressed with the quality of the picture and said, “Arre @virendersehwag, thodi der ruk jata to yeh photo use karleta 🙂 always a joy to meet you!”
