Jalandhar: App to curb illegal mining

In a bid to check illegal mining in Jalandhar, the state government and district administration have launched an online app, helpline number and email where people can lodge related complaints. Divulging details, Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma said Tuesday the Punjab government had launched PB GRAM online portal (www.publicgrievancepb.gov.in) .

The DC said people could also lodge complaints regarding illegal mining on helpline number 0181-2459664 or at email ID adc.gjal@gmail.com. ENS
