KISHTWAR: A meeting regarding approval of rates for various land acquisition cases of the district through Private Negotiation Committee (PNC) was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, who is also the Chairman of District Private Negotiation Committee, here today.
The meeting was attended by all the collectors land acquisition (Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and Sub Divisional Magistrates of the district), HODs of concerned departments besides land owners.
Nearly, 15 cases of land compensation were settled on the spot. The land owners were further motivated to cooperate with the district administration in acquiring land for various development works.
Later, another meeting regarding fixation of rates of land being acquired for various development works was held under the chairmanship of District Collector which was also attended by ADC, ACR and SDMs. Around 14 cases were settled in the meeting.
