Goa Board announces Classes 10 and 12 exams 2018 dates

The registration process will commence in November. Students appearing for class 12 and class 10 exams will have to register online through the Goa Board's website.

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the exam dates for classes 10 and 12. While the class 10 or SSC exam will be held from April 2 till April 21, 2018, the board will conduct the HSSC or class 12 exams from March 5 to March 24. The exam for vocational stream students and for children with special needs will begin on March 6.

As per a Times of India report, the exam for class 12 will begin with a language paper for students of arts, science and commerce streams. Nearly 16000 students appeared in the Goa Board exam from class 12 last year

The exam will begin at 10 am and therefore students have to reach exam centre before 9:30 am.

The registration process will commence in November. Students appearing for class 12 and class 10 exams will have to register online through the Goa Board’s website.

In 2017, Out of the 16,521 students appeared for the exam of which 14,666 have cleared it. The pass percentage was at 89 and the results are generally announced by April-end or in May.

As per the Goa Board, the passing percentage of science stream was 88.12 per cent, 87.53 per cent for arts, 96.70 per cent for commerce and 88.15 per cent for vocational.
