Panchkula violence: Police hand over notice to Vipassana to join probe
Former dera chairperson PR Nain is the other person summoned by the Panchkula police to join investigations.

A police team, which visited the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters here on Sunday, handed over notices to two dera functionaries, including its chairperson Vipassana Insaan, to join investigations at Panchkula to help cops identify dera followers involved in the wake of August 25 violence.
The dera devotees had resorted to violence and arson in Panchkula following the conviction of sect head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in two rape cases by the CBI court on August 25.
Former dera chairperson PR Nain is the other person summoned by the Panchkula police to join investigations.
Sources in the police said a Panchkula police team, headed by deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Munish Sehgal, visited the dera headquarters and team handed over notices to Vipassana and Nain.
Talking to Hindustan Times, Sirsa superintendent of police (SP) Ashwin Shenvi confirmed that the team visited the dera.
The Haryana police have started the legal process to declare Honeypreet, Aditya Insan and Pawan Insan, close aides of jailed Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim, as proclaimed offender (PO).
In a press conference here on Saturday, director general of police (DGP) Baljeet Singh Sandhu had also said that an international alert has been sounded for Honeypreet and the two others.
