Nokia’s next smartphone, the Nokia may launch on October 20 this year, a new report has said. Accoridn to WinFuture, the Nokia 8 launch will be held in Germany and only one colour variant (pilished blue) of the phone will arrive. The Nokia 8 is a high end samrtphone which will come with 6GB RAM adn 128GB internal storage. The report said that the expected price of the Nokia 8 is EUR 699. Based on the price point, we can expect the phone to come to India priced somewhere around Rs 50,000 to Rs 55,000. Meanwhile, another Nokia phone, Nokia 9 is being speculated about a lot. Latest leaked images show that it will be a large screen smartphone with bezeless display. The pictures were recently leaked on Baidu, a Chinese website.
HMD Global, a Finnish company, now makes Nokia smartphones. The Nokia 8 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will launch in India tomorrow (September 26). The phone was announced in London last month. However, the Nokia 8 with the more RAM and storage was spotted at an FCC listing as well. It was reported by the website NokiaPowerUser (NPU). When it comes to other features, they will probably remain the same on the Nokia 8. The smartphone features a 5.3-inch 2K LCD display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset.

While the Nokia 8 is a compact device, the Nokia 9 could come with a bigger screen. Not much is known about its features as of now, however, reports have suggested that most of the specifications will remain similar to the Nokia 8. However, a bezel-less screen in Nokia 9 means it will compete directly with the Apple iPhone X. It is expected that the Nokia 9, like the Nokia 8, will come with a dual rear camera setup.
The biggest achievement by Nokia has been enabling users to use the front and back camera at the same time. This clearly indicates that the company is targeting the millennial audience who love to live stream events.
Nokia 8 will arrive in India tomorrow and that is when the price will be revealed. According to market speculations, HMD Global might price the Nokia 8 at around Rs 45,000. When it comes to the Nokia 9, it is expected that the launch event will take place in October. ANother Nokia device called the Nokia 2 might also see the light of the day during that time.
