With just a few months left in the crucial Gujarat Assembly Elections, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will kick-start a 3-day campaign in Gujarat’s Saurashtra region on Monday after offering prayers at a Krishna temple in Dwarka. Rahul Gandhi will visit the Lord Krishna temple after he lands at the Mithapur airstrip in the Devbhumi Dwarka district on Monday morning, according to senior Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil. After offering prayers at the temple, Gandhi will hit the road for a tour of the Saurashtra region as part of the party’s election campaign in Gujarat. Here are all the LIVE updates:-
1:05 PM: He has begin his day by offering prayers at the Dwarkadheesh Krishna temple. From here he will drive down to Jamnagar and interact with locals, IANS added.
