Capacit'e Infraprojects staged spectacular performance on debut despite weak market conditions. The stock closed with a whopping 37 premium over its issue price of Rs 250 per share.
The stock started off the trade at Rs 399, a 59.6 percent premium over its IPO price but saw some profit booking and hit an intraday low of Rs 335 due to correction in equity benchmarks and broader markets.
But it still settled with hefty premium of 37 percent at Rs 342.55 per share on the National Stock Exchange.
The premium was warranted because of overwhelming response to the Rs 400-crore public issue that was oversubscribed 183.03 times.
Construction firm Capacit'e Infraprojects will utilise its issue proceeds for funding working capital requirements, purchase of capital assets and general corporate purposes.
The issue was opened for subscription during September 13-15, with a price band of Rs 245-250 per share.
