Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus's Bixby button is their one of the most talked about features. However, this particular feature was not available in all the markets initially. Also, currently, Samsung's Bixby is not supported by a lot of smartphones. Only the Galaxy S8 duo and the Galaxy Note 8 offer this functionality.

That being said, an industry insider has revealed an interesting piece of information on Weibo. According to the source, Samsung's Galaxy A (2018) series of smartphones will feature a dedicated Bixby button. This means the South Korean tech giant is planning to introduce its virtual voice assistant to mid-range smartphones as well. The source further suggests that the upcoming Galaxy A smartphones will be released in early 2018.

Well, it is in line with Samsung's usual product launch strategy, because the company starts to unveil its new offerings from January and February.

Unfortunately, the source did not provide any other information on this matter. However, the Samsung Galaxy A (2018) lineup has been the center of rumors for quite a while now.

It is speculated, some of the features that are exclusive to Samsung's flagship and high-end smartphones will arrive in mid-range devices as well. Apparently, the Galaxy A (2018) is the first mid-range lineup to get them.

Considering the past pattern, the Galaxy A series of next year should consist of the Galaxy A3 (2018), Galaxy A5 (2018), and the Galaxy A7 (2018). However, Samsung may decide to use some more creative and unique official monikers.

The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) lineup was introduced in January this year.
