UPSC IES ISS result 2017: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Saturday announced the final results of the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination 2017 on its official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates who have applied for the examination can check the UPSC IES/ISS 2017 exam final result notification online along with the list of the candidates recommended for the post of Indian Statistical Officer this year who cracked the personality test cum interview for the UPSC IES/ISS 2017 exam. The results have been declared after the written examination held in May this year and interviews which took place in September. According to the official release, the number of candidates required for appointment to the Indian Economic Service is 15 and the for Indian Statistical Service is 29.
The Commission, which conducts the Indian Economic Services/ Statistical examination annually, has uploaded a PDF document on its website with the list of candidates recommended for the posts.
The UPSC IES/ISS 2017 exam is held in three stages – prelims, mains and personality test cum interview round. The shortlisted candidates will soon receive the appointment letter by the Commission. There are around 13 candidates in totality who have been provisionally recommended in the merit list of the UPSC IES/ISS 2017 exam final result.
The roll numbers and names of the selected candidates are available on the list, which has been released on Saturday, that can be opened by visiting the official website of UPSC. According to the UPSC recruitment norms, marks of candidates who took the UPSC IES/ISS 2017 examination this year at various levels shall be revealed in a fortnight via an official UPSC notification.
