Mother of Terrorism, world's largest hypocrisy: Here's what Pakistan's envoy said about India at UN

Stung by Indian envoy's strong rebuke earlier this week, Pakistan today tried to turn the table on India. At the United Nation, Pakistan's envoy tried to match the Indian envoy word by word, terming India the mother of terrorism and world's largest hypocrisy. The envoy has also some strong words for the Modi government and questioned the appointment of Yogi Adityanath as Uttar Pradesh CM.

Here are some of the strongest statements of Pakistan envoy at the UN.

• Pakistan endured hostility for 70 long years.

• J&K is not a part of India. It is recognised by the international community as disputed territory.

• UN Security Council resolutions do not lapse with time. Or are 'overtaken', as the Indian foreign minister put it. Law has no expiry date. Morality has no sell-by date. India's posture is that of the predator. It cannot escape its legal and moral obligation to abide by the resolutions of the Security Council.

• If the international community wishes to avoid a dangerous escalation between India and Pakistan, it must call on India to end its provocations and actions.

• India must halt its sponsorship of terrorist groups inside Pakistan.

• Pakistan has in its custody an Indian spy, an intelligence officer - Kulbhushan Yadav who confessed to India's support to terrorist activities in my country.

• India has sponsored and perpetrated terrorism and aggression against all its neighbours; creating terror groups; destabilising and blockading neighbours to do its strategic bidding and sponsoring subversion, sabotage and terrorism in various parts of Pakistan. All this establishes that India is the mother of terrorism in South Asia.

• In its 70 years of independence, India has been engaged in over a dozen instances of the use of force and continues to face insurgency.

• The current political luminaries belong to a political party that has the blood of thousands of Muslims on their hands

• Today the so called democracy is the largest hypocrisy.

• India is ruled by the government in which racist and fascist ideology is firmly embedded.

• It is the government which appointed a fanatic (Yogi Adityanath) as the chief minister of India's largest state whose rallying cry to his mob was 'if one Hindu was killed we will kill a 100 Muslim'. It is a government which allowed lynching of Muslims.
