Haseena Parkar box office collection day 2, Haseena Parkar box office, Shraddha Kapoor, Haseena Parkar box office collection Shraddha Kapoor’s film has shown growth at the box office.

Shraddha Kapoor as Haseena Parkar had a lasting impression on the audience as far as the appearance is concerned but it did not take a long time to realise that the actor’s character does not have the kind of depth it deserved or required. As per many critics and reviews, Shraddha and the script, both have failed to keep up to the subject, which could have been dealt with in better ways. However, the film has shown improvement at the box office. The film, which opened with Rs 1.87 crore, has collected Rs 2.60 crore on the second day, topping the collection to Rs 4.47 crore. But the bigger question is, would the film survive at the box office for a longer duration?

The film competes with Omung Kumar directorial Bhoomi and also, Rajkummar Rao’s Newton. While Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film has been showing considerable growth at the box office, it is Newton which is wiping out its competition in every way. In fact, the film becoming an official entry to Oscars 2017 has given a momentum to the film, drawing more people to the theaters. So, in such a situation, Haseena Parkar standing strong or even stable would be a positive for the makers.

“This could have been a deeply interesting sketch of a woman who is clearly capable of being much more than she started out with. But ‘Haseena Parkar’ offers no such insight,” wrote, The Indian Express reviewer Shubhra Gupta.

Shraddha’s film has joined the league of films which despite good promotions and promising teaser/trailers have turned out to be a flop at the box office. Meanwhile, Shraddha has two big films in her kitty, Saina Nehwal’s biopic and Prabhas’ Saaho.
