Without the Champions League, teams moved their campaign ahead in domestic leagues. The Manchester clubs stand at the top of the Premier League, followed by Chelsea with a goal difference of three points. In the La Liga, Real Madrid jumped to the fourth spot but continue a seven-point difference to table leaders Barcelona. Meanwhile, PSG lead the French League, closely followed by Monaco while Napoli and Juventus top the Serie A charts.

Here are the best goals of the week:

Leroy Sane nutmeg goal for Manchester City

Leroy Sane opened up the scoring on Saturday against Crystal Palace with an unbelievable goal. The German received a near-perfect ball from David Silva, lifted the ball over his defender and nutmegged the goalkeeper for good measure.

Alvaro Morata second goal for Chelsea

Alvaro Morata was Chelsea’s man of the match on Saturday as he scored a hat-trick to give his side 5-0 win against Stoke City. His second goal, however, took the fans’ hearts, who chanted ‘Alvaro, Alvaro, he comes from sunny Spain, he’s better than Harry Kane.’ Morata showed wonderful composure as he delightfully lifted the ball into the corner with the angle against him.

Philippe Coutinho free kick for Liverpool

Philippe Coutinho scored his first goal on Saturday and it was a cracking free-kick for Liverpool against Leicester. Any fears that Coutinho is not 100% dedicated to the Reds after the transfer saga involving his move to Spanish giants Barcelona were put to bed with the beautiful free kick. Coutinho revelled in the space just behind Roberto Firmino, producing two world-class moments to give Liverpool a foothold in the game they won 3-2.

Jesus Navas for Sevilla

Jesus Navas fired the only goal on his 400th appearance for Sevilla as the second-placed team closed the gap on Barcelona to two points after a 1-0 home win against Las Palmas. Navas lashed home a shot into the top corner from outside the penalty area and from a tight angle in the 83rd minute.

Fabian Delph goal for Manchester City

Manchester City on Saturday sealed a 5-0 victory against Crystal Palace with a late wonder strike from substitute Fabian Delph, who unleashed a right-footed curler into the top corner after picking up the ball on the outside two minutes from time from 25-yards out.
