Metro food awards to be presented on oct 16

KOCHI: The third edition of Metro Food Awards will take place at Bolgatty Palace and Island Resort here on October 16 World Food Day.  This year’s awards function is being organised by Metro Mart.
“The Metro Food Awards will consider various aspects like professionalism and dynamism of the restaurants before announcing the winner. Apart from  good workmanship, the business acumen and skills of  restaurateurs will  prove the deciding factors,” said Siji Nair,Managing Director,Metro Food Awards 2017 

There will be awards in different categories. The restaurants can be nominated  only if the establishment is based in central Kerala. It should be open and catering to the public and should have all the necessary licences and clearances. The food provided should be hygienic.“ We believe it is the diners who should acknowledge and choose the best restaurants. Culinary experts-restaurateurs who offer good food plus a great dining experience will be chosen by the diners,” said Siju.
