Anti-corruption activist Anjali Damania allegedly received a call from Pakistan at 12.30 am last night.

The person on the threatened her that of she did not take the case against BJP leader Eknath Khadse.

Anjali tune jo case kiya hai Khadse par wo wapas le, ni to mein tera jeena haram kar duga. Tu family wali hai,’ said the caller. He went onto say, "Tune bahot jeena haram kar diya hai sab ka."

Damania believes that it was Dawood Ibrahim who called her.

Damania had filed a PIL against former revenue minister Eknath Khadse alleging that he had lot of wealth. Khadse stepped down from the post in June.

Initial investigations have suggested that the call waa from the number that Eknath Khadse was alleged to have called. Earlier this month, the Vakola Police had booked Khadse for allegedly making “obscene’ remarks against Damania in a speech at a public function.

Damania was informed about that speech by an associate of hers. Damania has tweeted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to take action.
