TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Deavasthanams (TTD) Trust Board is working in full-swing to make the 9-day Tirumala Brahmotsavam beginning Saturday a mega success. On the eve of the most sacred of all events at the Tirumala Temple, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Friday said all arrangements, including extra laddus, were in place to ensure that devotees from all over the country enjoy a hassle-free darshan and stay.

“I am sure devotees will return with a memorable spiritual experience,” he said. Singhal added that all efforts would be made to provide Moola Virat Darshan inside the temple and organise a grand Vahana Seva in the mada streets.“We have set up 30 large digital screens — 19 along the mada streets and 11 outside. This apart, there will be alive HD coverage by SVBC for the benefit of all those wishing to watch the event unfold on TV,” he said.

TTD has set up 7,000 parking lots to accommodate four-wheelers in Tirumala, besides 2,500 more near Alipiri as a contingency arrangement. In view of anticipated pilgrim influx during Peratasi Saturdays, TTD has cancelled Divya Darshan tokens on September 23, 27 (Garuda Seva) and 30. Reinforcing security, 640 CCTV cameras, child tags, body cameras and other digital apps have been put in place. A security cover of 2,000 vigilance staff, 2,700 police personnel, 3,000 Srivari Sevakulu and 1,000 scouts and guides will be doing the rounds in Tirumala.
