On the third day of Navratri, that is, Tritiya, people worship Maa Chandraghanta, which is the married form of goddess Parvati. She wears a half moon on her forehead so people usually associate this day with the colour grey which also represents a calm and balanced mind.

If you need inspiration on how to style yourself this Navratri, then here’s help:

1) Anarkali suits are princess-y and comfortable at the same time. Take cue from Anushka Sharma who looks stunning in a metallic grey anarkali from the house of Rimple & Harpreet Narula. The outfit with the golden embroidery work on its borders is simple and elegant. You too can keep up your fashion game like her by pairing your plain outfit with statement earrings.

2) What’s a festival without a sari? Grey saris can be matched with other brighter colours like pink or yellow. Or an embroidered and shimmery sari like Alia Bhatt’s can also work wonders. We like how the ‘Dear Zindagi’ actor paired the sheer sari with a round neck blouse of the same colour and kept her accessories to a minimum. But if you want, you can pick large silver earrings to go with this kind of look.

3) Neither suits nor saris? How about the good old lehenga with a modern twist? Ileana D’Cruz shows us exactly how to wear a lehenga with a hint of modernism to it with this tasseled blouse and silk brocade lehenga from Payal Singhal. The golden embroidery and the tassels add freshness to the attire.

While pale grey may not be an apt choice for a lehenga, but her outfit will make you think otherwise. The actor paired it with a matching dupatta and beautiful gold earrings.
