Man found murdered; 4 suspects at large

A man was hacked to death by four people in Ramamurthynagar over an old rivalry. The deceased is Madan Kumar (26), a resident of Kathalipalya in Sarvagnanagar. He was a cable operator.

The murder took place on September 21, but came to light only on Thursday night, said the police.

The assailants had dumped the body in bushes near a cemetery after the murder.

A few locals noticed the body on Saturday morning and informed the police.

The police shifted the body to a hospital for post mortem.

In a complaint, the victim's father has suspected the involvement of four men as they often picked a fight with him.

The police are on the lookout for them, added the police.
