The news coverage surrounding Judwaa 2, the remake of the 1997 Salman Khan film, is on its nadir. This Varun Dhawan starrer will see him in a double role and the film, which also stars Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez, is already getting hefty media attention thanks to aggressive promotion. Today Varun Dhawan uploaded short clips on his Instagram account. In those videos, Varun is interviewing… himself! No need to read the preceding sentence again. You read it just fine.

In the interview, broadcast on CNN News18, the first Varun Dhawan who is the interviewer asks questions to the actor Varun Dhawan, the interviewee. The questions are really funny. The interview starts with Varun Dhawan asking Varun Dhawan (never thought we would say this) what he does. Varun Dhawan replies that he is an actor.

To which the interviewer Varun Dhawan asks which movie he has acted in, complete with quote symbols on the word “acted”. The actor Varun Dhawan loses his cool and says the interviewer should have done his homework before the interview. To this, the interviewer says that they do homework only for good actors like Alia Bhatt.

The questions get nastier. In a hilarious turn of events, the interviewer Varun Dhawan asks the actor Varun Dhawan how does he know the dogs he takes pictures with like him. To which the actor breaks says that he knows dogs like him because they smile as they click pictures. Just as the interviewer Varun Dhawan gives an ironic smile the interviewee Varun Dhawan stars shedding tears.

Then the interviewer Varun Dhawan asks if the actor knows why he was cast in Judwaa 2? Well, he gives the answer himself, and says that it is because they could not get Salman Khan.
