Manchester United beat Southampton 1-0: Match highlights

Another day, another win for Manchester United but they won’t be at the top of the table this week because of Manchester City’s 5-0 hammering of Crystal Palace. Romelu Lukaku’s goal in the first half remained the difference between the two sides. Southampton did amp up the attacks towards the end of the match but United saw it through to the end. It is a marked improvement from last season as 1-0 leads were not something that Jose Mourinho’s side could hold on to. They now travel to Moscow where they play CSKA Moscow in the Champions League. This is Southampton’s second defeat in the league so far.
