A scuffle broke out today in Jammu after Rajput Sabha activists confronted Nirmal Singh, Jammu and Kashmir's deputy chief minister, over the PDP-BJP government's denial of a holiday on former king Maharaja Hari Singh's birth anniversary.

Earlier this month, Vikramaditya Singh, Hari Singh's grandson, asked J-K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to declare September 23 - Hari Singh's birthday - a holiday. But that didn't happen.
