With star vehicles biting the dust one after another this year, the Hindi film industry is back to following a tried and tested formula - sequels. Golmaal Again, Judwaa 2, Julie 2, Aksar 2, Fukrey Returns, Tiger Zinda Hai are some of the sequels which are set to entertain us again in the coming months. Golmaal Again
Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor are all set to entertain us with the fourth installment of the Golmaal franchise. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty.Judwaa 2
This Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu film is the talk of the town. This film is directed by David Dhawan and is reboot version of 1997 released film which had Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha as its lead actors.Tiger Zinda Hai
This film too is a sequel to the 2012 movie Ek Tha Tiger. While the other sequels have changed it cast, this Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer has a new director. The film also marks the on-screen reunion of Salman and Katrina. The film will be released on December 22.Fukrey Returns
This sequel starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha also finds a place in the list. Set in Delhi, 2013 film Fukrey chronicled the story of four friends who come together to make easy money. And its sequel, Fukrey Returns too is set to serve us with some more madness.Julie 2
This film is a sequel to Deepak Shivdasani's 2004 film Julie. While the earlier one had Neha Dhupia as its lead, Julie 2 stars Raai Laxmi who is hitting the headlines for her hot photos, poster and stills from the film.Aksar 2
2006 released Aksar which had Emraan Hashmi, Udita Goswami and Dino Morea in the lead roles is also up for a sequel. Aksar 2 has a new set of actors including Gautam Rode, Abhinav Shukla, Zareen Khan and Mohit Madaan. The film is directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan.
