A 22-year-old registered a case against her husband for beating her in Shalimar Chowpati area on Friday.
According to police, victim Saroj in her complaint alleged that her husband Gaurishankar thrashed her after she caught him talking to another woman over phone. Since few days, the accused was receiving calls from some unknown persons and when the victim caught him talking on phone with another woman the accused did react to it. After which Gaurishankar took the victim to an isolated place and started beating her. The victim trying to save her life fled from there and reported the incident to the police. The police are investigating the complaint.
