Six arrested for killing man in fight at a party

Six men have been arrested for allegedly assaulting and stoning a 28-year-old man to death in outer Delhi’s Ranhola on Thursday. Police said the victim, identified as Rocky Yadav, was declared brought dead at the local hospital.

Registering a case of murder, police said Rocky and the accused persons got into a fight at a party, and the argument soon escalated. Police said the six accused have been identified as Pankaj Verma (19), Rohit (22), Rohit (25), Sonu Bansal (20), Deepak (21) and Dharmendra (20).

According to police, the incident came to light when a local discovered the body lying in an abandoned plot near his house in Ranhola and made a PCR call. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused hit the man with stones and bricks.
