Cultural performances during ongoing Ladakh festival enthrall audience

Cultural performances by artistes have been enthralling visitors, including foreign tourists, during the ongoing Ladakh festival. The four-day festival is organised by the local tourism department to revitalize and bestow a spectacle of Ladakh's deep-rooted culture, traditions and heritage to the world and gives visitors an opportunity to experience the culture and lifestyle of the people. The visitors were seen enjoying the musical and dance performances by local artistes. A tourist from Netherlands, Peter, said he was elated to be part of the festival that was so full of colours. The Ladakh festival will conclude on Saturday and has many attractions, which includes Polo-Match, music concerts, mask dance, archery, river rafting and folk songs.
