Iqbal Kaskar’s wife met Dawood Ibrahim’s wife in Dubai last year: Police

Iqbal Kaskar, the younger brother of fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim, has told the police that he had spoken to Dawood’s wife Mehjabeen on his wife Rizwana Hasan’s phone when the two women met in Dubai last year.

“Kaskar claims to have spoken to Mehjabeen on his wife’s phone when she met her. We are verifying his claims,” said a senior officer probing the extortion charges against Kaskar for which he was arrested a few days ago.

According to the police, when he was questioned about the recent activities of Dawood Ibrahim and his gang, Kaskar claimed that he had not been talking to his brother.

“He claims that since he (Kaskar) consumes alcohol, some of his family members are upset with him and do not talk to him. While he was not cooperating with the investigation earlier, he has started giving details now,” said an officer.
