Equitas on Friday informed the exchanges that PN Vasudevan, Managing Director and CEO of Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd (subsidiary), has transferred 83,52,999 shares (2.46 per cent of shareholding) held by him in the company to his mother, PN Komala, through an off-market transaction. The transfer was effected to meet the regulatory requirement under the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, and the condition stipulated by RBI. Equitas said the changes in shareholding do not have any impact on the operations, strategy and management of Equitas Holding Limited or its subsidiaries. Shares of Equitas edged down 2.14 per cent at ₹155.45 on the NSE.
