Candidates who are searching for West Bengal Group D written exam results may follow these steps:
Step One: Go to the official website of West Bengal Group D Recruitment Board portal, www.wbgdrb.in
Step Two: Click on the results tab
Step Three: Click on the link "Result of Gr. D Examination 2017" from that page
Step Four: Enter nine-digit application number and date of birth on the next page
Step Five: Submit the details and check your results
Or the candidates may access the results after directly logging on to this website: wbgdrb.applythrunet.co.in.
The provisionally qualified aspirants, according to the official statement, will be informed about the West Bengal Group D Recruitment Interview schedule either through sms or email in their registered Mobile number or email Id.
Around 25 lakh candidates were present in the competitive written examination for 6000 Group D posts of the West Bengal government.
The Group D exam was held amidst high security at various exam centres across West Bengal State.
Apart from aspirants from West Bengal, a huge number of applicants from Bihar and Jharkhand were also appeared for the Group D written exam.
According to PTI, 5.5 lakhs candidates were from neighbouring States.
West Bengal Group-D Recruitment Board
West Bengal State government had constituted the West Bengal Group-D Recruitment Board on November 2015, for recruitment of around 60,000 Group-D personnel, in phases, against the vacant sanctioned posts available in the various offices of the Government.
The West Bengal Recruitment Board started functioning from January 1, 2016 and has its permanent office location in Utility Building, Action Area II, New Town, Kolkata - 700161.
Applications for these Group D posts were invited online for recruitment of 6000 Group D personnel in the offices of the State Government, located all over the State of West Bengal.
In response to our advertisement, 24.68 lakh valid applications were submitted.
