Designer Rohit Bal arrested in Delhi after alleged brawl over parking space

Delhi-based fashion designer Rohit Bal was arrested after an alleged brawl with a neighbour in Defence Colony in the early hours of Friday. The police said they received a PCR call at 3.22am about an altercation over parking space in C- Block following which Bal was arrested along with his cook and driver.

Delhi Police said he was allegedly in an inebriated state at the time of the incident. All three were later granted bail.

The neighbour complained to the police that Bal knocked at his door around 3am and allegedly started threatening him. “We got a call from the complainant. Bal was arrested on charges of illegal trespassing, causing nuisance under influence of liquor and threatening,” said a senior police officer. A case has been registered under sections 427, 451, 510, 506, 34. Further investigation is on.
